Got 7, 8 & 9 on PSP.... best place for it! Why pay for a PC version which just comes with cheats, ruining the fun!
Don't get your hopes up. Can't remember where I heard it but I'm sure it was said it was just 7 and 8 being re-released as they were the only ones they had done PC ports of.

I'm in a minority of people who preferred FF8, great game!![]()
Very tempting, I preferred the story of VII over VIII but think the actual gameplay mechanics in VIII are better. Shame that "completing" the card game requires a guide as there is no way you could get all of the trades without a walkthrough to tell you who to beat/lose to at what point.
The chocobo mini-game also makes it quite easy as it collects lots of the rare items you need to make the ultimate weapons.
I had Squall's Lionheart pretty much as soon as you get hold of the weapon magazine it's in as my chocobo tamagotchi had collected everything already!
Uh I'm gonna wait till they patch those horrible midi files or wait for a sale.
Roses and Wine - Steam Version
READ THE DIRECTIONS BEFORE INSTALLING
1. Make sure to back up your DATA folder and FF8_Launcher.exe before installing this. Nothing should go wrong, but it's best to be safe.
2. Run the installer AS ADMIN.
3. It should autodetect where ff8 is installed, but double check it's correct.
4. Make sure that "2013 Steam" is selected instead of "2000" when it comes up, and MAKE SURE ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK is checked.
Note: Due to the way the injection is done, some antivirus software's heuristic features may flag this (usually as something with "gen" or "generic" in the name. I can assure you, there is no virus here.

Last but not least, if you want to make small a donation to DLPB, you can do so here. He'd be grateful
P.S. Please seed as long as you can. The last thing we want is for this to die because people stop seeding.
edit: IF YOU WISH TO REINSTALL ROSES AND WINE FOR ANY REASON, MAKE SURE TO UNINSTALL IT BEFORE INSTALLING REINSTALLING. (use the "uninstall" option in the installer itself)
