*** Final Fantasy XIII ***

The graphics on this game are better than Crysis imo, and yes, I have maxxed Crysis at playable FPS on my GTX 280 SLI.


If you hate the consoles so much why post in console forum :confused: It just seems like you're trying to boast about your new rig tbh :p

I've not playd mgs4, so I can't really compare the two.

FF13 is extremely heavy on the cutscenes though, I cannot emphasise that enough. You fight 2-3 times, cutscene. Fight once, cutscene. Fight again, tutorial. Run 50 yards, cutscene. Fight 5 times, cutscene.

All of them are relatively short, like your character says something trivial and flicks a switch. Others can last a minute or two and it's standard japanese melodrama stuff.

It's not aggravating imo, and you'd really have to see it for yourself to decide, but gameplay is constantly punctuated by them. I sometimes wished the deveopers would just 'let me go' so I could mess about, but Square have a story to tell, and they ARE going to tell you it regardless heh.
 
Don't feed the troll, he's just annoyed because he can't play this great game as he's too hung up over his PC.

I'm 8 hours in and just on Disc 2, starting to enjoy it a lot more now, I just wish I could do more exploring, I know final fantasy has always been linear and I like it linear I just wish I had more of a choice who I could speak to and have some towns to explore etc. But hey ho, not a major concern, the combat system is really growing on me now I've messing round with the paradigm shifts.
 
Just got raped a couple of times by Odin as he gibbed both my party members right at the start, as I had heard about him, he really shows you that you have no clue what you are doing :D :p (In some cases, not all of course)

Went crazy defensive at the start, then managed to take him down without any problems after that, before I started raging at the TV :D

What a game though, awesome so far, and so much more to come ;)

Clueless haters = go make another thread to cry in if you don't like the game, but you can't call yourself a gamer if so :p

That is the most fun part of FF games!!! Redoing battles just to level up everything to maximum, even though it is just numbers on a screen and ultimately levelling up just helps battles end quicker!!

Don't worry you're not the only one that is farming CP. Even so, at least you get more used to the battle system and being able to quickly switch between Paradigms for those same enemies. That is until you reach a different area and you have to mix up your game again, especially if you gotten all robotic routine like. :D
 
K ive dismantled a few things and heres what i got

Doctors code lvl 1 = Fortisol+Aerigsol ( best? )
Metal Band lvl 1 = Bestial Claw ( proberly easier to sell 1 and buy the comps)
Star Pendants lv 1 = Vibrant ooze.

Did 1 weapon Sazh vegas which i had to lvl 6 and got 3 inuslated Cabling, not very good at all, so ive quit and will reload so i can get it back.
