That will be ok.

The RAM was picked because its colour matches?

Haha, yeah. And it's low profile for the HSF and I've read a few reviews on it which were pretty good.

ps; I read your excellent review on that motherboard - have you tried the P8Z77-V Pro? If so, which would you recommend out of both of them?

I suggest the you consider the Gigabyte windforce 7970 Since there around the same price but the 7970 has more Vram and is a Bit better!

I'm pretty much set on the 670 since I will be getting Nvidia 3D Vision, and I prefer their drivers. Thanks for the input though!

Hi guys,

I'm almost about to order yet I'm stuck on which GTX670 I should order. It's between the ASUS and the Gigabyte model, any help?

I most likely won't be overclocking the graphics card so I'm not exactly fussed on which has the better overclock potential, but it would be nice to have that option if I do decide to eventually do it.

Decided to go ahead with the Gigabyte GTX 670, thank you all for the help so far guys (esp; stulid), Hope this build goes well ^^

Hey guys, I'm currently building the PC at the moment and I'm trying to mount the Crucial M4 SSD but the screws that came with the Corsair Carbide 500R don't fit. What can I do :s?

Sorry for so many questions in one day but I've just noticed my USB 3.0 socket on the motherboard has a bent pin and I have absolutely no idea what that means. Does it mean I can't have USB 3.0?

ps: I fixed the SSD.

Apologies for the poor iPhone picture quality.

Manged to fix the bent pin but now I have another problem (-_-). Nothing is showing up on my monitor when I'm turning it on. No splash/BIOs screen at all.

Do you have both power cables in the GFX card?

Have you connected the monitor to the card?

Yeah I have both power cables connected to the card and I have tried to connect the HDMI to the video card but it ended up with the same results.

I've reinstalled the HSF and double checked the CPU. Tried it with 1 RAM stick, it all ends with the same results :(

The lights on the motherboard are on, fans etc yet I can't for the life of me figure out why it won't POST.

Have you got the 8pin ATX plugged in near the CPU socket?

Try a clearcMOS

Yeah I have the 8pin connected to the pins/socket near the CPU.

edit: Okay, I've moved it to the 2nd and 3rd pin - now it won't even turn on :s

To clearCMOS you need to power off, move the jumper/short the jumper or remove the battery, replace, power ON.

Did it. Still not working, going to try breadboard it but if that doesn't work then I guess I'm going to have to RMA the mobo/cpu.

Ok, just finished breadboarding and I've just noticed the DRAM light is solid red - does this mean the RAM is faulty? I've tried both sticks, even just 1 of them each time.
