I'm looking to buy early next week, so final checks to see if everything is OK.
My last post didn't get any improvements, so I assume everything is OK? (I did base most specs from recommendations within this forum)

if buying next week, why not get one of the new intel 6750, cheaper than the 6600, runs faster, cooler as well, would go real well with u p35 board, as both run @ 1333

Oh, now I didn't think of that...Now I know why I like this forum, just when you are all sorted someone comes along with a cheaper and superior suggestion.

As for a sata DVD-RW, d'oh, n00b mistake by me
