It all looks fine, you might want to get the NEC 4551 if you want the Lightscribe feature otherwise no problems. You could also look to the X1800XT 512mb as it is about the same price as the 7900GT and has double the memory plus performs at least as well if not better :)

IMO ditch the expert sli mobo and go for the DFI nF4 Ultra-D and the Mushkin ram in favour of the OCZ platinum PC3200 and also the 7900gt for the x1800xt or x1900 if possible.

No need for the SLi mobo unless going SLi! Waste of money at nearly double the price of the normal nF4

Good pc3200 is faster than the pc4000 because of the timings

x18's and x19's just because they're better VFM.

Made some cahnges.

PowerColor ATI Radeon X1800 XT 512MB GDDR3 AVIVO TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail instead of the 7900GT
DFI LanParty UT NF4 SLI-D (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard instead of the Expert
OCZ 2GB (2 x 1GB) PC3200 Dual Channel Platinum Series EL-DDR CAS2 (OCZ4002048ELDCPE-K) instead of the Muskin RAM
Seagate Barracuda 7200.9 NCQ 250GB ST3250824AS SATA-II 8MB Cache - OEM instead of the WD.

Also 580w Tagan EasyCon - TG580-U15 - 2Force Silent Modular PSU instead of the Hiper Type R, or should i stick with the Hiper?

Is that all fine and dandy? Im probabilly going to order it on Thursay and then its time to get my hands nice and dirty. Also do i need an anti static wrist band when im building?

I'd say go with the Tagan, it is a good PSU and also gives the ability to use the PSU as a single rail PSU which can aid stability(mainly in dual graphics card systems). The Hiper is only single rail but I personally would still choose the Tagan.

Nope probably not as long as you remember to earth yourself you should be fine, touch a radiator or something grounded like that before working on the PC. I've never used an anti-static wristband and I've built around 20 PCs, all of which are working to this day as far as I know so unless you intend to run around a nylon carpet, comb your hair and use a vandengraf generator for an hour or so you should be alright ;) That said if it makes you feel better then by all means use one, it would be one less thing to consider :)

i have never used any one of the anti-static bands u can get as just be sensible dont rub the parts on plastic and if u get a electric shock when u touch the case, go touch a radiator and come back. i have never had any part fail due to static or anything else.
