need it to overclock pritty good for sup com i think the ram and board should allow it to do that

couple of points though the ram im thinking of is the C4 stuff not the c3 as show in the pic but it wouldnt let me add the c4 stuff to the basket for the screen shot

also i already have a seasonic s12 500w psu which i will reuse for this rig

for some reason overclockers have stopped doing the coolermaster ammo case so ill have to source that elsewhere

otther than that can you guys recommend any changes ?

any compatability issues there ?

should be a nice rig when i ge it going..

Change the board to an Asus commando and save yourself some dollar. I would also recommend the cooler in my sig (Noctua NH-U12F) over that Tuniq. Apart from that looks like a superb setup

(You going for the dominator C4?)

yes matey the dominator c4 6400? should be good considering the step price of 170 notes

965 chipset certainly looks like a good performer but dont you get more features and software with the 680i chipset ? also combining it with the nice ram shouldnt i see really good clocks with the striker ?

The Commando is a really good overclocker though and its so much cheaper. I think the Striker is just a waste of money, you can get similar if not better results and excellent quality on the Commando board. Have you considered the GeIL or OCZ C4 PC6400? They both overclock amazingly well, would be a great combination. a GeIL and OCZ kit can be had now for just over £100, the prices have dropped quite dramatically.

id *** to spend less on the ram i could put that money towards a GTX loool but ive brought lesser memory before an havent been able to overclock and im never sure if its me or the ram lol

im gunna have to read about the commando i know the 965 overclocks loads but i read theres no real performance diffferences between any of these boards weather its a 965 975 650 or 680 but its the features, software and how prity the box is that i should be looking at ???

and feature wise the striker is certainly packed, its also got the thing that resets your bios if you overclock too much hehe that i like....
