Final Spec Check

if you can live with a blue motherboard and without the bells and whitles of the asrock then I'd says drop it down to the gigabyte z68xp-ud3

or if not then what about black with some blue bit? go with msi offering with cashback offr if you buy by monday.

this will allow you to get the asus 570 directcuii if you don't plan on sli

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-250-AS&groupid=701&catid=1914&subcat=1010 tho lacks bf3

and the corsair carbide case 400r, would have uggested the 500r but the black is out of stock.

I was looking at that 570, I don't plan on SLI'ing anytime soon. Infact, probably not for a couple of years. It'll only realistically be playing sort of BF3, WoW and a couple of other games my friends want me to get/waiting to download in steam.

Thinking about it, it's actually a bit stupid putting the inside of the top sort of on top of my priorities! I'd rather have much better performance than the same colours inside. The only thing I want really is a low red glow from the case that I can maybe turn off. :p

Isn't there a £124.99 MSI board that gets good reviews? edit: THIS

was going to suggest the plus version of the orignal chiosen case but stulid beat me to it, I went away to get food :)

570 for £58 more if you can live without the free games, use the £21 cashback(well cheque) you get to getting bf3 :)

Right, thanks all for the help. Ordering it tomorrow when this weeks pay is in.

May have a few little questions, but from the bits you have given, I should be able to decide :) again thank you for your help.

Also, is the Next day guaranteed? I'm going to order some time tomorrow morning, think I'll get it all by Saturday?

but thats £15 more expensive :)

will the storm enforcer case fit it?

on and the spec list on the 912 plus says - VGA Card Size: Up to 39 cm

have to pay extra for saturday delivery, if you order by 4.30pm you'll get monday otherwise tuesday.

The coolermaster website;) - http://www.coolermaster.com/product.php?product_id=6674

VGA Card length :270.0mm

Never get your information from second hand sources, then you wont go speccing stuff that don't fit.

Maybe, but being a reference deisgn it dumps all its heat out of the case, and MSI have a UK based RMA center which is useful with the 3 year warranty.

get beaten by you/others enough typing and linking product page, would get 2 page worth replies if I go looking at manufaturer pages :)

go carbide 400r if it'll fit the gpu and you can live without the red in that case :)

Do you happen to know how much extra Saturday delivery is?

Simple fit, remove the rest fan (place this in roof) and attach the rad and fan to the rear

or could attach it to the 'front' of the radiator to improve the cooling, or is the exhaust fan on the case not good enough for that?

shame they don't do those in the black, they have black in the 2133mhz version

yes 16gb is overkill but who can argue at those prices, I paid £108 for 2 kits of corsair vengence 8gb(2x 4gb) pc3-12800 1600mhz c8(yes I know c8 wouldn't see real life difference but got 1 set from here for £50 and the other from the rainforest for £58).
