That looks very good as far as I can tell. What's your current PSU? We should be sure that it can cope with an overclocked 1900XT and E6600.

Why'd you choose the Aero Flower rather than the Scythe Ninja?

I didnt really "choose" the Aero Flower rather than the Scythe Ninja-i it was quoted to me in another thread-so dont know about the scythe ninja-should i choose that? (and why?)

Current psu is a Magna ATX 500w, just bought it a while ago (still boxed now) as it's transparent w/durl fans, and it being transparent goes with my acrylic case!, i have never overclocked and dont know how to so that would be next in some thread somewhere!!!

Everything looks pretty good(was it me who put that specification together? because it looks familiar but I can't remember). You could save a bit of money by going for XP Home instead of Pro - the main difference being better networking features on Pro or maybe get a cheaper version of the X1900XT unless you specifically want the Arctic Cooler pre-fitted. :)

semi-pro, was you for spec! (thanks were at top of first thread! :D )

maybe i should save a few pennies and stick with what i'm used to (xp pro/home!)

not sure (at all!) what you mean with regards to the 1900xt or arctic cooler???

and what about this ninja cooler???

also.. do i really need a sound card as good as that if i just end up running it straight to my surround hifi amp anyway?
thanks
S.

No worries about the specification, I just couldn't remember if it was me, that was all :)

The X1900XT issue is that you could get either the Connect3D or Sapphire X1900XT for ~£10 cheaper(not on This Week Only) and they will perform the same. The cooler on the HIS card may be marginally better and quieter but I don't know if it is £10 worth.

The Ninja cooler does normally outperform the Zalman by a little bit in testing but it is a bit larger I believe and I'm not sure if it is any noisier. I picked the Zalman mainly out of personal preference but the Ninja may be a little better for overclocking.

hi waster!, for a tenner i think i'll stick with the card, and the zalman is more than adequate.

Think i'm finally there now- and ready to order!?!?!?!?!!?
I think this should be a pretty awesome pc
