full screen on dual monitor hack works like a charm http://bramp.net/blog/full-screen-hack-for-flash
Does this fix the zero day flaw?
Installed, loaded up youtube, watched some 1080p clips and all the work is still loaded off onto the cpu, isn't 10.1 supposed to offload most off the work onto the gpu or am i getting it wrong?
Here's the direct link to the non-IE version: http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player.exe and the IE version: http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_ax.exe
I agree. Just not something that's needed for installing one little plug-in. Windows Updates I can understand being done the way it is, for XP I mean.I honestly don't quite understand why Adobe are forcing Mozilla Firefox users to install their download manager just to simply install flash player.

It's all ok though, due to Sky Player using Silverlight, and e.g. Tesco or eBay not fully working in Opera I end up having to keep a permanent window of IE open anyway...
If you use IE to try and download the other browsers version it should just give you the download.

Adobe said:*Agree and install now*
By clicking the "Agree and install now" button, you agree to the Software License Agreement. Adobe may use the Adobe Download Manager to seamlessly install your software.
It actually made it to beta status, but it seems to have been put on ice, at least for the time being: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2010/06/11/64_bit_flash_for_linux_dead/There's a 64-bit alpha version available for Linux, but you've got a long wait if you want a Windows version.
I've always preferred to install Flash manually considering its less than 3Mb to download. I can understand Adobe Reader making use of Adobe's Download Manager. Everything else is small enough to be installed through the site (Shockwave) or by an installer (Flash, Air). It's a much better way of installing Adobe Flash Player though, honest:
Adobe appears to be trolling.![]()
