FINALLY 1080Ti BEATING PERFORMANCE FOR LESS THAN 1080Ti PRICES!!

In short what I am trying to do here is force the general market down in price, right now based on cost that is very hard to do, I used tactics to get to these prices and the simple fact is they are working, we've sold more RTX today then we've sold all week, and as the manufacturers can sell our sell out even though they are requesting we stop trashing the channel we will hold these prices until next Wednesday or until the stock sells out. But I am sure it will send an impacting message, RTX sells when it is priced fairly as per the above,

A great first step, I hope this results in a general lowering of the prices, Good luck!

Isn't this basically finally roughly at MSRP? How many months after launch?

2070 MSRP $499 = £382 + VAT
2080 MSRP $699 = £535 + VAT
2080ti MSRP $999 = £765 + VAT

I think Pascal is gonna be the last generation I spend money on unless things change dramatically.

Tbf people who bought 1080tis near release literally got the deal of the past decade. Years of the same GPU without any depreciation and a crypto mining environment where they could make all their their money back.

I think it is equally true for the 1080/1070. Although I guess they are now stuck looking for an upgrade.

Not the same performance, but the amazing 5-8%~ better performance at the cost of minus 3GB of vram after over 2 years :p

And the obvious "RTX" branding alone justify the high price :D
We are truly living in exceptional times!

:D

Reminds me of the red team and the 480, 580, 590 series. Incremental increases with not a lot of performance to go with it.
The only complaint I can really leve at NVIDIA is their ridiculous pricing this time round. Not really a lot wrong with the performance of the cards, bearing in mind that they dropped down teir chip wise to bring us the performance in question.

Yep, I got a 1080 at launch from here and it's been a great card but am dreading the prices of whatever the next ones will be.
