Enjoying it so far, will dig out the old thread when I get a bit further as I don't want to spoil it for myself at the moment.

Trying to decide if I should play more today or if I should wait till tonight when it's proper dark for atmosphere

Its not actually that scarey.

Once you do a few missions you will get used to the things pretending to be dead and will just shoot things on the ground that you know you havent killed XD

Its a very nice game actually. Currently running it at 1080p max settings with 32xAA/16xAF and its smooth.

Wish I could have played it mouse & keyboard, but the mouse acceleration did my head in so ended up using 360 Pad.

I had it crash on me at one point, but never happened again after that. I must say I really enjoyed the game, made me jump a few time aswell

I thought it was very scary and jumpy at the beginning but I got used to it after a while. Still thoroughly enjoyable though.

Anyone get screen tearing? I tried it and it was nearly unplayable with all the light flickering etc constantly causing screen tears. When I enabled 60 fps max it was good but then the lag in the mouse was horrid. I uninstalled. Perhaps prematurely I dunno... any advice to get the game to run smooth?

im playing it through on 360 atm. its a good game, am enjoying it a lot, only bad point is the over used playing dead monster.

Well I solved my crashing issues, they were caused by having a game controller plugged in and not being used.

Yeh, I had the same issue, lag with vsync enabled was awful, without I was getting bad tearing, but only really noticeable with light flickering areas.

Anyway, finished it today, great game thouroughly enjoyable and a bargain at only twelve quid
