Finally done it

Ok, as promise, I've add the pics to the OP. I'm rubbish with cameras and my note 2 seems to be taking crap images for some reason, but you can at least tell it's a car...

Need bigger pics!

Looks nice though, those seats, are they similar to ST seats? Look similar, they have epic support but I found them a bit too hard at times.

Sorry, my phone's camera at the 8MP setting takes hires shots, but they still look crap. I just used photobucket to resize them to 1024x768. Still look crap, but at least you can see the whole thing without scrolling now :D

Let's just hope I have less problems than I did with the VXR. Currently, the car needs a refurb on all wheels, but that's purely aesthetics. I need to get a Hunter wheel alignment done as their is horrible loud droning noise when 38mph or less. Pretty sure it's not a bearing, especially when these are renowned for sawtoothing issues on the rear tyres. Plus, the Maxxis MAZ1 that came with it are apparently very noisey also.
 
As an owner of a facelift Mk2 I have to agree - nice car.
Don't see so many of them around in silver - it's one of only two colours I'd consider seeing black wheels on (the other being white).
I have mine in Anthracite and I've owned it from new (back in 2011) and I've got no intention of getting rid of it any time soon - just enjoy it so much.

Have a good check around the tyres and make sure they are wearing evenly - a whole load of these came out of the factory with incorrect geometry setup's (which is pretty unforgiveable if I'm being honest) but easily sorted.

Enjoy it.

Yup, petrol TSI. I'm tempted to get them done in shadow chrome - it's even nicer than anthracite IMO :D I've had a feel of the wheels and can't feel any noticeable wear. The seller told me about this issue and had it done, but I don't think it was a hunter 4 wheel laser alignment. Trouble is, the nearest one is Edinburgh I believe.

Would you mind posting pictures of yours with the dark wheels, or sending me some via a link in trust? :D

So happy you said it twice :D Hehe yeah, it took long enough, but didn't just anything. I'm pleased with this, so it's been worth the weight. 6 months without a car will save you a surprising amount of cash :D
