Great deal there raikiri i think you will like GRAW and PGR3 the most out of them games , sorry to hear about losing the money that would have gone towards test drive unlimited ;) .

but...but dead rising :D

The toyrus deal, xbox premium with 4 games for £299.99 is out of stock, will they ever do this deal again?

I took a drive over my local Toys r' us this afternoon after seeing they were out of stock on the site, I'm now £300 poorer & a lot happier, all that was missing is DoA4, but there gonna give me a ring when its back in & i can go fetch it :D

You should have said "Just give me dead rising instead". Or made a serious effort for little money and a new game :).

I tried that, I suggested exchanging two of the cheaper games for DR but they were having none of it. Oh well.

Same here, can't say I'm bothered about ff or king kong at all, but doa4 looks ok for a muck about.

Dead or Alive 4 is incredibly frustratingly difficult.

King Kong is a lot better than I was expecting, and whilst very repetative at the start there are 2 sections in particular where the graphics are absolutely stunning.

Just wondering, would you recomend to take out the 2 years extra service contract thingy or not to bother?

Why wouldn't you recommend taking out the Microsoft Service Contract thingy that comes in the box?

I've never taken out an extended warranty, as everything I've bought that has lasted more than a few days, has lasted well beyond a year without issues...but with all these dying 360's...hang on!...it's an evil plot!...send out faulty consoles to spread a rumour that 360's die a lot, causing masses of people to spend on the extended warranty!

Normally I wouldn't but having had mine die after 3 months I decided to. Give it 6 months then think about it.

Loads of people argue on here that an electrical product should last more than 12 months and you can fight your case with trading standards.

You would be lucky to get that sorted in a couple of weeks. Yet these same people moaned when they had to wait over 24 hours for their 360 to be fixed by microsoft ;)

Yep they do have a responsibilty for it to last longer than 12 months but lets say it lasts 18, they can just offer to take the 360 off you and offer you say £120 as you have had 18 months use.

I got it because the 360 is a tempremental piece of carp, but I couldn't live a week without having it :D

danny, the card says to send it within 10 days...is that false info, and I can send it off any time (within the first year i'd assume?)

Does the extended warranty (we are talking about the "service contract" card that comes with the console) apply for two years after the first year, or do they run in tandem?

If it dies, will they just straight out swap it for a brand new console, or repair/replace with a refurb?

If the warranty applied for two years after my first year, and they replaced with new, I'd prolly go for it!

I was just about to ask the same thing, with all the talk of 360's dieing I've been thinking about it.

You can send it off whenever you like before your year is up to get that price. You get two extra years after the original year. I got a new one but it's hard to tell because if you have the extended warranty they re-register your console to the warranty. So when you try to register your new one it says "already registered" this is because they swap the serial numbers for you on your warranty.

But you can get re-cons.

Sorry, having problems understanding what you said. Do you mean to say that you took out the extended warranty, and then later had your 360 replaced by the retailer you bought it from?

Then you mentioned re-cons, so i'm confused
