It's taken me a while to get the cables into the wall (I'm useless at DIY)

Ill get rid of the corner unit the old telly was on then get an HTPC in the new unit instead of having the laptop on the floor.

I've still to tidy the loose cables on the left of the unit but i cba to do it today. :p

Text is perfectly readable on screen, It's great browsing the forums from the sofa using wireless keyboard and mouse with my feet up.

Anyway, me and the missus are both happy with it. :D

IMO, a TV shouldnt dominate a room like that...i think it looks awful.

Nice TV though.
Have to agree, the tv is fantastic it doesnt suit the room and the furniture in the room, but if I had the money I would still get one.

Why didn't you go for the big one? :p

By the looks of it, you're sitting around 7-8ft from the TV, so 60" is perfect for 720p material. :)

Nice TV chap.

What are the three blocks along the bottom of the screen? Are they the mounts or speakers? I can't quite tell. Either way I think it spoils the look of it tbh.

I'm of the opinion that there is no such thing as a tv thats too big :D

Missus wouldn't let me brick up the window and put an even bigger one on the wall to the left :D

That looks pretty sick!

How did you hide the wires?

That wall is two bricks deep so i just knocked some plaster off then cut a channel into the brick, it was about 10mm deep.

I used plastic trunking to protect the wires then plastered over it
