Finally Logitech release a mechanical board......

I was all ready to jump up and say "yay my perfect keyboard" until i noticed it has the annoyingly frustrating half height enter key :( I know it's a small thing for most, but as i touch type the way i do i simply cannot use half height enter keys without accidentally mashing two keys at once. Oh well, one day someone will make a mechanical keyboard with media keys and a full size enter key to tick all my boxes on keyboard requirements :p

it might be a stock image of the US one, not the UK one

(which has happened before i believe)

Well fingers crossed there then! I feel incredibly fussy saying it, but i guess when you have a set way of typing fast, when something interrupts that it's a right nuisance :D

I completely understand, i find it hard to adjust too

best to call ocuk and find out :)

Is the G19 still worth buying or should I just not bother and get a mechanical?

Yeah I don't get the price of this keyboard.

Logitech keyboards are ridiculously priced. The G-Series of non-mechanical keyboards are beyond a joke. Definitely would not recommend getting one.

You can get a good mechanical keyboard for less than the G19, hilarious. Plus, the G19 is full of unnecessary gimmicks

I love my G19, reason being I use the screen to monitor the stats of my GPU's, temps, speed, fps, voltage and so on.

Price is high for a keyboard but not really that bad for what you get - its only about £40 more than a standard mechanical keyboard that lacks the extras like backlighting. Some thought seems to have gone into the features to make it useful for gaming beyond just slapping some mechanical switches in there that said they could do with removing the orange border on the left and the ability to use atleast a couple of alternate backlight colors wouldn't go amiss.

Was toying with buying the Blackwidow but went for the G19. If i had known about this then i would have waited :(

I hate the G19, I'm on my third one now, poor build quality. My G510 was much better, probably should have kept it.

1st keyboard had a squeaky backspace, dodgy mute button.

2nd Keyboard, loud space bar, a lot of pressure required on some keys or they wouldn't register.

3rd keyboard, mute button has no feedback, it's as if the button is loose, A key requires a lot of pressure to register sometimes, very annoying in games.

So yeah, very bad experience so far and a quick google search shows I'm not the only one, so if anything I'm looking at the K90 or G710+ now.
