Finally moving!

Sounds like its all coming together and hope you have many a peaceful night.. Just means you can play music at full whack and not upset the neighbours 8o))

Great news and I hope you don't have hay fever.

What if your neighbour is an up and coming DJ and every weekend hosts a massive festival in all those lovely fields?

I'll use my spare sling and shoot some marbles :p

lol Well it's a SEMI-Detached bungalow, so music will have to be played in the bedroom! But at least I can have speakers, I've had to use headphones against my head for 6 years every time I use the comp :(

Neil, congrats mate, one day I want away from flats too and the new place sounds very calm by comparison!

All the best and hope it works out, onwards and upwards dude!

Grats buddy!

My wife suffered with noise agrophobia living in our apartment a number of years ago. Its a condition not to be taken lightly.

For the last 6 years I've always lived in Flats, going from one Flat to another, avoiding the hell of noise either from above, beside or below me. Some of the places were so bad, that I had a number of mental break downs and found it difficult to go on. From door slamming below my bed, to loud music and even people banging in the kitchen. I moved to this recent place which is beautiful inside, but even with Concrete floors I can still hear door slamming, and even the sound of people laughing up until the early hours. It wasn't long after I was diagnosed with a form of noise agrophobia, basically a fear of noise.

Today the good news, as from the 23rd or thereabouts, I'll be living in my very own semi-detached Bungalow. But what's even better is the location, other than the city I'm in now. It's surrounded by hills, woodlands and long fields Oh and my OWN garden!

I'm not sure what the neighbours are like as I'm not living there yet :( , but the area looks lovely, and my bedroom is not attached to anyone else! Nobody above it, below or next to it.

Most of you wont care " Cool story bro ", but this could be a really good change in my life!

Mmmmm I can understand the noise agrophobia thing.

Ever since I had a break in where they kicked my door in while I was asleep I've been hyper aware ever since. Slightest noises I feel some adrenaline kick in.

That kind of environment would probably destroy me.

Edit: Obligatory cool story bro

That's going to take you ****ing ages to mow.

Checked my broadband at the property - 39mb/s, better than I expected but not 70mb/s I get now :)

Ahh well sacrifices

still good going haha, mine is 11mb/s :(

Mines 2.5mb/s so you can stop yer bellyaching and thats on fiber, adsl is about 1mb/s :(

Said 15-20mb/s on the phone number checks but they mess up the overhead cable run and think its 1.5km instead of the 2.5km it actually is - adding insult to injury were also 'Market A' so get to pay around £5-10 more than normal prices & don't get any of the deals

Update : All forms signed, removal van booked, retro collection packed!

So yeh, it's all a go as from Monday morning :D

Feelings of Fear, Panic, excitement! Had many years of hell, and that deep fear of neighbours from hell is engraved in my mind, plus moving away from family. - The area is beautiful though, and nobody attached to my bedroom, and my own garden!
