Just been off the phone to JL and the following is due for delivery on Monday:

Toshiba 37WLT66 With 5 Years Warranty
Toshiba DVD Recorder with 2 years warranty

I'll now get round to ordering a mounting toshiba stand:

Once the mini mac's hooked everything should be sorted :supercool:

In the mean time I'll be job hunting to contribute towards it, as the rents have paid for everything so far :\

Roll on Monday

Let us know how you get on with it. I hope it all works out fine with the MAC.

you said you're connecting the mac to it, so you're going to use it as a monitor for your mac?

I think he's going to use the mac as a HTPC.

I had a play with mine using VGA input, 1366 x 768 res and 85 hrtz refresh looked pretty much like 1:1 but i didn't test to much, just got on with watching a film.

Will the quality over VGA at 1:1 resolution be decent quality? My experience with connecting PCs to TVs has so far been pretty uninspiring. Icons are hard to read etc.

I phoned 5 E-tailers and everyone is out of stock with the stands :(

I was up Bradford earlier and over at Empire Direct and even they were out of stock!

TV's due tomorrow, Guess I'll have to place an order for the stand and wait 1-2 weeks.

Pfffffffffffffft! :(
