Talking of a propper summer, two years ago I was in mainland spain and it was ~50C, and the sea in Barcelona was 30C :cool:

Any idea if theres going to be rain in the glasgow area over the next couple of days?.....damn I hope so! This sun/heat is just ridiculous.

go onto the bbc website and you can put your postcode in for a 5 day forecast

Tonight/Tommorrow hopefuly. But it's just storms/showers so we could quite easily miss them

P.s dont use the BBC 5-Day forecasts, there a load of rubbish!

I love this heat, I just wish I had an excuse to spend more time outside as I hate sunbathing.

For all those global warming people out therr the previous record for the hottest day in july was set in 1911!

Nothing can beat an actual person forecasting the weather, however http://www.netweather.tv/ has probably some of the best automated forecasts. But you cant beat looking at weather charts if you know how to.

Lightning storm! or two to be precise.. and then they merged pretty much directly over us and twisted together.. nothing more but some spectacular sights up into the lighter sky where the vortex formed

Ive just been dancing in the rain.. felt very refreshing.

Errr, no, had swimming shorts on.. its all ive worn today!
