Finally! SSFIITHDR is incoming!

Id love this but the 360 d-pad is pants.
Joystick is only way to play a beat-em up on 360, for the reason you stated. Can get one for about same price as RRP of a wireless controller (obviously won't be wireless though).
Really? The only experience I've had with SFII was on the SNES, and he definately wasn't in that.

This is based on Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo (Which was not on the SNES).

It's "prequel" Super Street Fighter II - The New Challengers (The first to have Cammy, T-Hawk, Dee-Jay, Fei-Long) was on SNES, but the version most people played on SNES was Street Fighter II Turbo - Hyper Fighting.

Either way this version was in the arcades and never on a console, although a very close variation was on Dreamcast/PS1/Saturn and that spawned this game (Dreamcast code specifically as that was closest to arcade version and had online code as well).

I think to select Akuma you had to hold your cursor select over various characters or something. In the PS/360 game about to come out, he is a hidden character select above E-Honda in the picture in OP.

Ah, cheers for the explaination :)

Chun-Li > All imo, always used to play as her. Was the only character that could bounce of walls (part from Vega but wasnt unlockable in SF2).

According to wiki, it has "Classic" and "Remix" modes, but I'd guess classic just means original SSFII:Turbo.

Still, you could just turn down the speed, and turn off/agree on no super combos and achieve pretty much the same thing, couldn't you?

I was under the impression that both modes had the new graphics, just the old one is closer to arcade code and the remixed one has the balance of certain characters and moves modified.

If there was a version with classic (upscaled) graphics I think we would have seen screen shots by now.

Edit: actually you may have meant gameplay rather than the graphics. I will leave my original post for informational purposes.

Yeah, sorry, I assumed we were talking gameplay, not graphics here. After all, there's the original version on XBLA if you want that. :p

I'm gonna jury-rig some kind of complex wiring system that lets me use my Classic Controller on my housemate's 360, because I swear I Am Getting This Game and I'm not suffering crappy 360 d-pad woes.

I have, it upset me.

Funniest thing you have typed, for ages :D

Anyway....

Capcom store launches on Playstation Store this week (A special Capcom area of the store with all their releases) and the new(for ps3) Age of Booty Game.
Obviously this will be where the new game will be when launched.
