Joystick is only way to play a beat-em up on 360, for the reason you stated. Can get one for about same price as RRP of a wireless controller (obviously won't be wireless though).Id love this but the 360 d-pad is pants.
Really? The only experience I've had with SFII was on the SNES, and he definately wasn't in that.
This is based on Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo (Which was not on the SNES).
It's "prequel" Super Street Fighter II - The New Challengers (The first to have Cammy, T-Hawk, Dee-Jay, Fei-Long) was on SNES, but the version most people played on SNES was Street Fighter II Turbo - Hyper Fighting.
Either way this version was in the arcades and never on a console, although a very close variation was on Dreamcast/PS1/Saturn and that spawned this game (Dreamcast code specifically as that was closest to arcade version and had online code as well).
I think to select Akuma you had to hold your cursor select over various characters or something. In the PS/360 game about to come out, he is a hidden character select above E-Honda in the picture in OP.

Chun-Li > All imo, always used to play as her. Was the only character that could bounce of walls (part from Vega but wasnt unlockable in SF2).
According to wiki, it has "Classic" and "Remix" modes, but I'd guess classic just means original SSFII:Turbo.
Still, you could just turn down the speed, and turn off/agree on no super combos and achieve pretty much the same thing, couldn't you?
Awesome video.
Try pulling those off on a 360 d-pad.
The hands in the hadoken........
