Finally upgrading my 2070 (non-super) and looking at a 4070 ti.

As Troezer said above the gpu power is decent on the ti but it's backed up with 12 gb vram which is a horrible amount for such a pricey card. The 4070 is a good chunk cheaper with it's performance being very similar to last gens 3080. It's still overpriced for what it is but more easy to recommend you that, as if it runs out of Vram at least you saved around 250-300 for the pleasure. It's still a decent 1440p card but as with all cards atm still overpriced.

Apart from the expensively powerful 4090 there's nothing really worthwhile from nvidia this generation, the 4070 is sort of okay but needs a 20% price cut. The 4080 is actually a nice card thats 300 more expensive than it should be.

I'll eye up the 4070 then. Is there a stand out version of it? Like I said I have no brand loyalty just want the best for my money whilst ensuring it has at least three DisplayPorts and one HDMI port/s.

I've got a 4070 Fe, it has 3 Dp and 1 HDMI, most of the rest should be similar, check the descriptions.

Best warranty is Zotac 5yrs, UK RMA centre, personally I would stay away from any 2yr warranty GPUs.

Go 4070 or save for a 4080.

The 4070ti's 12Gb is too small for the price.

The 12GB on a £800 card is actually taking the pee pee bad. If you are spending the best part of a grand on a graphics card then you want at least 16GB so you dont have to throw it in the bin next week.
