It's not that important £1450 over 10 years with my old corsa but still £145 I could use towards other items for the household. And since cars (some) require no tax seems silly not to go this route and save some £££.

Looking up to £15k, but want lower ofc just saying that seems to be the starting rate for Civics.

It's the lowest recurring cost of running a car, don't set pointless criteria on it. Low tax band cars are often more expensive because they are more appealing for company car drivers. You're buying it on finance, 10 quid a month for the tax will make absolutely no difference here or there.

Doesn't make sense to go for a diesel doing that sort of mileage/journeys.

Tell you what, these are actually alright - though if you bought it new I really hope you got a broker price not anything close to list.

Nicer inside than the fiesta and a deceptively large boot for the class (I don't care what the official capacities say it is bigger than the fiesta). The biggest down side we found with them is the money they seem to retain used, they're just not as desirable as the likes of the ford for me(and more importantly the Mrs) yet seem to have stronger residuals

Well coming from the 2003 corsa to this It felt really nice and A to B car and able to go on motorway if needed and it was quiet at 70mph and at one point up a hill I though I had stalled it as I didn't hear the engine. But overall impressed
£1500 taken off
£500 for my old corsa (which doesn't even start)
£199 per month
£30 road tax!

If so that actually sounds alright tbh if the corsa was effectively worth scrap

VERY happy they are taking the Corsa tbh, the head gasket or worse had happen as the engine is very high pressure pushing out water via the bottle. & Battery is dead.

Was expecting £100 for it for banger racing at the end of the day!

& they are picking it up too!

Its the 7 year warrenty
3 years service (door to door pick-up)

and generally a nice car to drive
