Hello

I want to bulk edit lots of Word documents. Does anyone know of a "Find and Replace" batch script for Word? It's easy enought for txt files, but not docs it appears.

OR the autohotkey option...

If any autohotkey experts can make me a script to run these key presses for a set number of times:

Enter > CTRL+F > ALT+P > "(" > ")" > TAB > ALT+A > Enter > ALT+F4 > CTRL+S > ALT+F4 > Down arrow > (repeat)

As you can probably guess, I'm trying to remove a pair of brackets in word files. Problem is there are hundreds and and can't be bothered to do it manually :(

I will pay you*

*might not actually pay you

Use TinyTask, it's fantastic for automating mouse/key presses.

I used it to feed my tree in Plants vs Zombies to 1000ft whilst at the pub :p

hundreds of brackets or hundreds of documents?

Hundreds of documents. I actually have a few edits to do... so this script would have to be editable by me I might add :D
