I just found this reliability site, www.reliabilityindex.co.uk, which is good for finding out how reliable your car is and how much the average repair bill is. The nearest I could get to my 05 Focus 2.0 TDCI Zetec is the 98-04 Focus which says:

Reliability Index: 45.47
Average Repair Cost: £201.93

So, how well does your car do?

Seat Leon
Reliability Index 75.64
Average Repair Cost £222.55

well i've spend the best part of €4000 on repairs in 10 months, so i think i'm above average :o
and that's at €57/hr labour at my local SEAT dealer..

UK Top 10 page is interesting too, didn't think Suzuki would be first, but the Japs in 2, 3 and 4 no surprise (Honda, Mazda, Toyota), Skoda doing well in 5th.

Mine isn't on there, the closest thing is a Carisma which shares an engine and nothing else (not even the ECU).

Reliability Index 14.65
Average Repair Cost £362.97

I can confirm, my car is tremendously reliable so that figures.

03 Focus

My old 99 Pug 306
