Finding a telephone number through address?

Is it possible to get the telephone number of someone just from their address?

Yup, if they're listed in the phone book.

Start at page one, and look down the list. When you find their address you can simply glance across and get the phone number.

Is there an online method?

I looked through my phonebooks and as i suspected, i only have ones for Worthing and Brighton.

The address i need to find is in Cambridgeshire.

Directory enquiries? Or is that the other way round? I can never remember.

It is against the law to be given a phone number from an address only without a surname or to do a reverse search. About 10 years ago there was a piece of software called UK Info that did this and it got all the information from catalogue company's but they were quickly ordered to stop.
