Hi, How do i find bios version of my Gigabyte 965p DS3 without booting it up, the reason i ask is because im having problems with it and it will not boot so im wondering if i can find info printed on the bios chip etc?

Thanks in advance, Ben

If it's not on a sticker on the BIOS chip then it may be on a sticker on top of the keyboard or USB connector. If not, you stuck.

Just a quick question where is the bios chip on the ds3 i cant see it, im used to a large one like on my nf2. can anyone post a pic of the chip plz?

Thanks

Try reading the manual. The DS4 manual has the BIOS chips clearly shown on the motherboard layout diagram (and they're tiny).

Next to the ide slot.

However I'm intrigued as to why you would want to know the bios version.
