I have lost the cd-key for my copy of photoshop element 7.0, is there anywhere in the registry that will show me what cd-key was input?

Belarc might provide you with the info, I know it does with the OS and any Office versions you have

Might be worth a shot :)

I don't have photoshop, so can't tell you where it is exactly in the registry, but they're generally kept in:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Whoevermakesit(Adobe?)\Photoshop

Something like that anyways :).

Ah :(

Apparently only older versions of adobe kept the key in the registry, so you might be out of luck here. As others said, give belarc a try : http://graphicssoft.about.com/gi/o....1&zu=http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html

It doesn't show keys for all Adobe products, but it does for some/most, so may or may not work, probably most likely tho :).

I did actually find the key in the registry but the last 4 digits are removed, I guess this is done by photoshop as a security feature.

Belerac worked though, so thanks :]
