Finding Compatible memory for mother boards

So i was lucky enough to win a 8086k and will be looking to get a motherboard + memory (and probably a few other bits)but remembering what it was like with my 4690k system and the issue i had with memory sticks not working, I was not going to have that same issue.

So question is on Overclockers site is there an easy way to tell which memory works with which motherboard without having to go through the RAM lists for each motherboard and comparing ?

I've never been concerned about finding compatible RAM for a given motherboard, DDR4 is designed to a standard to which all motherboards that support DDR4 should adhere too. I've never had any RAM compatibility problems thus far, touch wood. I just buy the cheapest and it has always worked.

I use Intel approved DDR4 Ram on my AMD system with different sets of ram als0 and no problems.
Funny I run AMD ram in my intel system, bought AMD ram because it has half the price as Intel ram at the time.
nlel1975 said it is a standard with DDR4 and you should not have problems but to be sure always go with approved vendors list for given motherboard.

EG:Motherboard
Approved Vendor List

Cheers for the advice, does it still have the same issues with mixing and matching ram like for example if i was to get 4 or 8gb now and then another stick later on does that cause problems if its not the exact same type ?

You can use different sticks ,just make sure they are same voltage, you can even use different size ram, different combinations like 2x8 and 1 x 16 from my dealing with ram on x470 as of well just yesterday.

Also some motherboards have DRAM VREF or VTTDDR voltages which when set is around half of DRAM Voltage. To help match different ram sticks/kits if needed.

8Pack is one of those world class overclockers on this forum,I am sure if he reads this ,he will chime in.
As always try to get kits with closely matched voltage and are on approved vendors list for best results, but really its just DDR4 memory and it will work at rated speeds for CPU for AMD/Intel.
