finish the build please

Toxic and Vapor-X have better cooling, some have 2gb memory too, instead of one 1gb :)

+ I had figured it out, where I state, "So far I gather..." showing understanding. :p

The ram! its the type for a 1366 socket board. It will work, but its cheaper & easier to get the right stuff :)

These are the dual channel version of them. The triple channel would probably work fine, but I wouldn't want to be the one adivising it :)

Yes. RAM to one which would work (compatible with Lynnfields). Dual Channel rather than Triple channel in this case.

Mobo - if you can get one with symmetrical Crossfire (8x/8x). Otherwise it's best to get the best single GPU you can afford.

PSU - you don't need that much power but you do want to have a quality brand and high efficiency - go for Antec/Corsair.

I think I beat you by about 5 seconds? :p

But the Psu I felt would be okay, or go to the 600W version of it, its chaeper + will easily power your system :)

I know, but someone said it couldn't crossfire. but it can according to the box??

the board will support 2 cards in xfire tho the performance wont be very good, because the 2nd pcie slot can only run at x4 then both cards will run at x4 in xfire mode. which seriously hampers performance as far as i'm aware. for xfire you need a board that will run both cards at x8

very true but it would be nice to have the option. manufacturers should be more 'clear' with the regards to the crossfire abilites of their boards

same as my board-'crossfire enabled' in purdy large letters on the retailers website (not OcUK btw) but heaven help me if i'd tried to xfire it. i still have half a mind to contact the retailer and demand a refund as it is clearly not fit for purpose. works perfectly fine tho for everything else, and a joy to oc on for a noob so i'm maybe just being bloody minded :p
