Must say I have tried this for a little while now and enjoying it a reasonable amount.

Am more than a little miffed that I cant change the resolution on it, I have tried everything on the forums that I can find and nothing seems to work for me. Still, the game is only in beta and as my laptop can only handle so much its not a problem for now. Hopefully the interface/resolution will get fixed by the time I can upgrade to a desktop

If you open the console you can change the screen resolution to anything you want.

ALT+'

then type Screenmode 1 1920 1080

1 = Fullscreen
0 = Window

I think that collect 400 minerals quest is just a daily that you can do every day, not sure if it advances on to anything else?

No it does not it's more of a placeholder.

I presume people know if you go here: http://beta.firefallthegame.com/ then select your character you can get all their stats eg PVP, mission completed etc. You'll see your future invites at the top when they come in to.

In a word, yes.

It feels a bit like Tribes+Team Fortress+Starship Troopers with a load of crafting thrown in.

The amount of Quartzite I need to farm is obscene

This isn't a completed game by any stretch of the imagination. What is in here is a lot of fun, but if you're looking for your next game a beta isn't it imho. Lots of fun though
