firefix backup

hi guys,

is there an easy way to back up firefox stuff in its entirety?

like:

• bookmarks
• plugins
• configuration (& plugin configuration)

and anything i've missed? basically i'd like to be able just to click it all back to how i like it as quick as poss :)

Be warned it doesn't just take the profile and copy it - it only takes the files it "knows", so some of your files might get missed, like extension prefs.

If you want a complete copy of your profile, it's (by default) at %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\[random characters].[profile name]

i use "FEBE" its firefox extension backup extension or something thereabouts. seems to work well, google "firefox febe" and you should find it..

Just backup the entire Firefox folder - it's what I did last time, and everything worked just as it did before reinstalling. Even the history, etc. :eek:

In my instance, I backed up the following folder: C:\Documents and Settings\Michael\Application Data\Mozilla
