That's right.

Until today. Firefox has been working beautifully. Since it updated this morning with 17.0.1, it keeps freezing. I have even tried running it in it's own safe mode.

I tried to put 17.0.0 back on, but the problem still persists.

I'm assuming this has something to do with Flash or some script that has become unresponsive since whatever the update has changed.

Anyone else having similar issues?

I'm having issues like this with FF also. I think it is Flash causing it because Flash now has an "auto-update/install updates" like Windows Update, but when it updates my Internet Explorer crashes until I disable Flash and my FF freezes all the time.

Anyone had this issue? If so did you do the same to find out the fix as I did?

I think it is a Flash plugin issue.

When FF does work, I got it to check my plugins. Told me Flash was out of date. So I downloaded Flash again and so far so good.

What bit system has everyone got? I have 64bit Windows 7 Home Premium. Might be something to do with the bit of the OS.

Win 8 Pro x64 and Win 7 HP x64 on laptop (dual boot), Win 7 Pro x46 on desktop.

Could try creating a clean Firefox profile and see how it goes?

I'm using the 15.01 version, see no reason to upgrade.:D

Security updates?

Cleaning the profile and disabling plugins is the first thing I do when troubleshooting Firefox.

Running Aurora 32 bit here, only crashes with 40+ tabs open on refresh. Waterfox won't even launch at the moment. :(
