about:config.

Change browser.tabs.closeButtons.

0->Close button on active tab only
1->Close button on every tab (default)
2->No close buttons
3->Close button at end of tab row (1.5 default)

how do i get the spell checker to work?

You might need to install a dictionary. Right click -> Add dictionaries and then install the correct one.

i take it that you can't update from 1.5 and that you need to download the file as linked in this thread? as i have gone to check for updates a few times and it tells me that nothing is available

Thanks a lot, now I just need to find a 2.0 theme that I like when one comes out and all will be better :)

Mine auto-updated to 2.0. Be patient, I guess.

Liking it so far, feels a lot faster on the pcs in my house. Just need to wait for the themes to be updated for 2.0 now (I haven't had much luck getting nightly tester tools to work so far).

How do I import my bookmarks, they seem to have gone with the upgrade to 2.0, if I try Bookmarks>Organize Bookmarks>File>Import nothing happens :mad:

Also my Noia theme was all messed up, not very impressed went back to 1.5.0.7

Mine did that, I just ran the 2.0 installer again, over the top, and all my bookmarks/cookies/etc came back!

Can anyone recommend me a good firefox 2.0 theme that is clean, pref. black and white that makes all the bookmark toolbar icons the same? It looks messy when all the icons are different. Is there a way I can do this without a theme? I used a theme called Aquaint (or something similar) that done this and it looked much nicer :)
