firefox 2.0 v6 not tabbing ?

I have the latest Firefox 2 and its not tabbing subsequent sites after opening the first site. I have to use the back button to get back.

Any ideas folks ?

OS is Win XP pro SP2

Is that down to Firefox, or the coding on the page!?! I always right-click links to make sure they go into a new tab.

Just gad a quick look in Firefox... Options/Tabs.

beano, you know that simply middle-clicking on a link will open it in a new tab...

I was opening another website from my Bookmarks, and this new site just simply overwrites the previous web page. Back clicking will get me back of course, but i thought tabbing was something that FF uses ?

AH! ...just found out that i have to go to file / open new tab / bookmarks, rather than open a 2nd web page straight from bookmarks.

A simple error on my part. Not had this FF very long

Yeah that's something that's always bugged me with FF, i don't think you CAN tab from bookmarks (at least i haven't found a way).

Huh? You're trying to open a bookmark in a new tab? Is middle clock not working? Is Ctrl click not working?

Nope, i just didn't know about middle click til today. I'd always right clicked, so had no reason to read the instructions, as i thought that was how it worked lol!
