Did you right-click in the text box and select it to check?

Works perfectly for me using the same version.

Betas are good but i think its best to stay with the current offical releases.

I went and put Bon Echo in the search engine in FF, it seems now it comes up with suggestions, as i was typing the suggestions included, "boneme, boneme.com, boner and bongs" .

Yep, though it isn't a Firefox thing - it just hooks into Google's search suggest. You can (or will be able to) disable it though.

The real beta 1's out too.

The default theme will get an update too - some suggestions.

Just be aware that many extensions are not compatible - only about half of mine worked so I rolled back to the latest release - 1.5.0.4

Quite. Be aware that some will work with either a tweaked MaxVersion or Nightly Tester Tools overriding the version check though, but some will crash your browser too (ForecastFox for starters, IIRC). Your mileage will vary, and it is only beta 1.

For example, GreaseMonkey works fine, you just have to force the issue.

Also does anyone get a small box pop up when they launch the program, it says checking compatibility on extensions or something.

Spell check is good though!
