Firefox 3 hanging too often

I uninstalled flash then reinstalled latest version and it's better with youtube. It still doesn't like iplayer lol

My whole system is now getting unstable...

Firefox however seems to be the one thing that now works!

Every cloud eh....

Im so not wanting to do an F&R cos this episode of Vista has until a few days ago been rock solid for longer than it ever has and Im actually starting to like it.

When it fails ( if it fails ) and I go back to XP64, I will be rid of Vista as this is the last time...
 
I had crashing issues with youtube recently as well (more extremely long not responding issues really), did some googling and it turns out adblocking s.ytimg.com/yt/swf/PMS*.swf stops it. Might be best to just reinstall flash if that solves it though.

reinstalling flash did nothing for me. I tried chrome as well and had the same issues. Yet IE soldiers on strong.
 
Make sure all the old versions of Flash that might be kicking about are gone - there's a removal tool somewhere on the Adobe site IIRC.
 
I've jsut remoed using the tool and re installed, all seems well up to now.

Thanks tolien, seems 50-50 for me on the whole of Windows I have to admit, but the immediate issues with FF seem to be stabilized right now.
 
Flash 10 has been causing a lot of hangs for people using IE, I can't comment on whether Firefox is affected too.
