Firefox 3 is out for Mac

Been using Firefox on OSX since RC1, so much smoother than Safari and I always thought nothing would ever come close to Safari on OSX but I guess I was wrong about that lol.

You can't get much better, I find Firefox the best browser for OSX, Windows and even Linux. I wish other browsers would have add-on support just as good as Firefox.

The speed dial thing is very good though

You can get an add-on for Firefox which adds the speed dial feature to Firefox :).

Na, not Opera. Safari and Firefox are good competition for each other.

what are you basing that on? The default theme is ugly, but Opera is an excellent and highly customisable browser, which uses very few resources and has excellent developer tools built in. It blows Safari out of the water with regard to speed, customisation and features - the only place Safari even comes close is looks, and that's a matter of opinion.

I've been converted from Safari! I was using RC2 and it was ok but this version has really swung it for me.

My biggest gripes about Safari at the minute are mostly related to photography/design:

No right-click/properties on images which leads me to my next point that I have to have a separate app on my dock to view EXIF data with Safari.
Finally I find Wordpress a lot easier to manage in FF.

Now all I need is FF to implement Safari's HTML E-mail intergration and I'll be totally converted.

Sorry Billy I should have been more specific. In Safari you can go to any web page and press Apple+I and it will open Mail.app with a new e-mail that matches the website. I've been sending out HTML e-mails recently and I had been pulling my hair out trying to find a way to do it. I never realised it was so simple as a keyboard short-cut but unfortunately FF doesn't have this option. Maybe there's a plug-in which would do it.

I know there are a few tweaks you can add to Firefox that will send emails from web accounts.

For example, clicking a mail link on a site would take you to Gmail, and compose a new message; instead of opening Mail.app.. if that's any use to you.
