The menu bar is utterly stupid and tabs on top is a crap in my opinion. Hence why I use a FF3.6 classic theme for FF4 and turn off all the stupid crap.

Chromium is buggy at the moment. It was giving me countless page load timeouts on lots of sites. I switched to FF4 and the problem has disappeared.

Looks fine on Linux anyway. Screenie!

I'd guess Arch and... DWM? It's not that bad in Mint, maybe they changed it? The persona didn't do much apart from change the background so you know:

Oh sorry it took me ages to get back to this thread, it's arch + openbox, up top it conky, down bottom is tint2, terminal is urxvt.

Anyone else having problems with firefox 4 locking up? Not just one tab but the entire application.

Think it's related to the flash plugin...makes me want to switch back to 3.6...

I have in Windows 7 on numerous systems, including my RAID 0 SSD, i7-2600K setup. Someone suggested disabling the older version of the Java console on the add-ins menu which seemed to help a little. I upgraded to 5.0 today and it seems better so far.
Sorry for not really being a great answer as I've not experienced the problem in Linux.
