Firefox Backup

Hi,

Is there any way to backup all my settings, history, autocomlete info, plugins, etc all in one from Firefiox?

I'm about to upgrade to Win 7.

Close Firefox and backup these folders:

%appdata%\Mozilla\
%appdata%\..\Local\Mozilla\Firefox

(copy/paste them into the start menu or run dialog)

An upgrade should keep all your files and settings though, but obviously it's a good idea to backup just incase.

Install an add-on called FEBE, it backs up everything you want.
When you come to reinstall just drag the FEBE.xpi into the firefox window to install, then goto its settings to restore what you want.

Mozbackup has worked fine for me for years and very easy to use and restore your settings. It even works on the 4.0 beta 6 version...

FEBE is the best.

I have used all other extensions and methods and FEBE is the most thorough especiallyw hen restoring exactly what you want.

I used the method Pho decribed. It has worked every time and works with XP, Vista and Win7. Ive never had any problems doing it this way.
