Firefox Error

Guys,

Removed a couple of things, mostly spyware in the registry but nothing connected with FF [that I knew of

]

My FF window now looks like this.

Tried a reinstall to rectify, but didn't work

What can I replace/re-register etc to get the lower form back to normal view and regular size?

Have you tried Internet Explorer mate?

Try View > Uncheck "Show Status Bar", and then re-enable it.

i had that problem when 2 extensions conflicted. i had to remove one to fix it.

No, I have, and IE has no problems other than the thousands it comes with.

I personally despise IE, hence my non-rude but humorous reaction.
Even if it does happen in IE, that wouldn't help me. I don't touch the app, and just want it out of FF tbh.

wow this is what I dont get.

People say Norton is crap, for me its perfect, they say Norton slows down the PC, my PC is the same speed without Norton as it is with Norton, and your saying IE has lots of problems, I have no problems with IE what so ever.

Obviously FireFox has problems as your experiencing it now

Nope. Reinstalling won't touch your profile, so any dodgy extensions/themes/settings won't get touched.

Try (Firefox) safe mode, and a new profile (it's at %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox).

Thanks Marc, you were spot on bud. Was a horrible bit of spyware that only appeared in there intermittently.

Finally got it off and back to normal
