Firefox history search wipe

Hi guys

Do you know if there is a way tow ipe the search history on any search boxes.

I do not want to wipe the cookies ie the passwords etc etc

I assume you mean boxes like on Google? Double-click the box so the list comes up, use the down/up arrow keys to scroll through and press delete to delete them.

In firefox, click Tools, and then Clear Private Data. Then check the items you want cleared.

Look in your profile and remove the formhistory.dat file. Restart FireFox. Should regenerate a new blank one
