FireFox is loading all of my forum icons sequentially!

For some reason, one day, my computer decided it would be funny (well Firefox decided) to load all of my OcUK icons sequentially.. this means that loading the front forum page takes extra time.

With my long time browsing at 80ppp all of the mafia images, the online images, the RTM images.. they all load one after the other.. all the way down the page.. ive put up with it.. but its so rubbish im tired of waiting now..

Has anyone else experienced this? IE6 is fine, loads all of the icons in one go..

I thought it might be the cache, it appears it doesnt remember the duplication of icons.. but i cleared that and nothing.. reinstall FF?

Sounds like you've disabled the cache.
Reinstalling won't do much, but a new profile should fix it - but it's not something that arbitrarily disables itself, it's been disabled by either an extension (FasterFox or the Web Developer Extension being the two that come to mind) or a change to a setting in about:config.

Im such a twonk, disabled cache is right there on my web dev toolbar.. it all started after my housemates were messin about on the PC, so they must have got it by accident..
