Firefox issue..

cant log into facebook in firefox..

just get patterns on screen including lots of ?/?????/

tried clearing cookies cache and updating drivers etc cleared the dns

ok in chrome and explorer.. any ideas does it on a few sites just get a screen full of rubbish.. thanks

I'm guessing you could fix it by removing the Firefox profile ( %appdata%\Mozilla\Firefox ), but I'd guess you'd also lose your settings.

Better to simply rename of move the profile until you know whether or not it fixes the problem.

For future reference you could just use the reset button under help - http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/reset-firefox-easily-fix-most-problems

Why people insist on manually removing the profile after mozilla automated the process so that it will keep your important data is beyond me...
