Firefox new toolbar button problem

My Firefox isn't remembering where it was opened last, which monitor, and what size of window. It jumps back to same size and monitor everytime its closed and then reopened. Also when I add new buttons to the toolbar they are gone when I close and reopen it. Must be a setting somewhere that causing this, but I'm stumped as to what it is.

To fix the size problem rather drag it to resize it than pressing the maximize button.

Yeah I tried that, but no it jumps back to the same position everytime.

Uninstalled it and deleted it from everywhere, Programs, Registry etc. Reinstalled it and it seems to have fixed it. Not at that machine till tomorrow.

This would probably have helped, without having to throw away your bookmarks. Oh well.

You mean the bookmarks I backed up beforehand?

And extensions, and I presume you had a time machine so you didn't spend time reinstalling them (and Firefox, and deleting things)?
