Firefox opening in the wrong monitor

I have a dual monitor setup under windows 7 and after once moving firefox from my main monitor to my secondary it now insists on always loading on my second monitor.

Is there any way to stop this?

I had this problem but I just kept moving it to my main monitor and after restarting it a few times it now seems to open on my main monitor. Have you tried moving it back to your main monitor and restarting it?

Yeah i've tried opening it, moving it to my main monitor, closing it, restarting it but it still loads on my second screen. I dont really want to buy ultramon just to cure this problem

do you just drag the window over to the right monitor and let win 7 auto maximize?

i found doing that didnt help, but instead making the window smaller, dragging it across, then making it bigger using the reduce and maximize buttons worked

Ultramon seems to 'remember' what window I like things in. For example if I hit firefox and live messenger they will open in seperate windows where I like them to be.

Ultramon is well worth the money.

drag it to your main screen minimised, then maximise, do it couple of times for OCD sake and then close once maximised. Should then restart in main window...
