whenever i close firefox, i have to re sign in to all the places i was before i closed it, however it used to be where it would remember the details so i wouldnt have to sign in again and again, if anyone understands

any idea how to put it back?

thanks

If you're having to sign in again it's your cookies rather than saved passwords. Have you set Firefox to delete them or something?
Usual stuff, try safe mode/a new profile and see if it's the same. Deleting cookies.sqlite might help also.

ive done that, it knows all my passwords and everything, but everytime i visit this forum, it doesnt keep me logged in, same for my hotmail account

edit: ill try that tolien

edit: nope doesnt work either

when you exit firefox does your option automatically clear all privacy data including stored passwords? cos obviously one will negate the other?

A setting or file in your general settings in your profile may have gotten corrupted.

Create a Mozbackup of your profile, create a new profile then run Mozbackup to restore your backed up profile to that new profile and begin a restore but uncheck the "general settings" checkbox in Mozbackup.

That should fix it.

This is what fixed a passwords issue for me that existed in 3.5 (but not in 3.0)

been overclocking a lot today, so a fair amount of restarting/bsoding

nope, that option isnt on

I thought so.
Something is corrupted.

If a system restore is not an option then the only option that i know is fresh install.
There maybe another way but i don't know of it.

Try what mrk suggested.

thanks, but i couldnt find half the things, so i ended up uninstalling it, then re installing it, which worked, now i gotta remember everything :p

thanks for the help though

In Mozbackup it's a button slap in the middle of the screen to create a new profile to restore the backup on to.... you simply cannot miss it.
