Hey guys

Sorry to create a thread like this, but Google is just giving me tonnes of useless info.

I am sure I read it on this forum (when you end up searching loads of threads, find useful info but can't remember what thread it was) so done a search and can't find anything!

Basically, i'm looking for a FireFox password manager that has encryption on it - i'm sure someone mentioned a free ad-on available for firefox which sounded better than the standard one, and less hackable I guess as its not 'mainstream in firefox' - compared the bog standard one.

Im looking at the moment, but if anyone can give any suggestions what it might be I may recognise the website/name.

Thanks

I always used the default one, but I often hear quite a few viruses etc are proned to attempt to attack that because of majority of people storing their passwords there.

Fair point, if you enable the master password then it's rock solid whilst firefox is closed. Although it could be attacked while you're using it in theory.

Keepass is bullet proof though, hook that up with the firefox extension and you won't go wrong :)

thanks for your replies :) Just saw the extension and it says its not fully developed yet? :(

Trying it out now, seems like it works fine.

Do you have to be logged in with master password all the time or only when you enter something else you want saved?
