I'm looking for something that would enable me to view two pages at once, but without having to open a second instance of IE/Firefox. I'd like to make full use of my 24" monitor and be able to watch iPlayer on one half of the screen and surf on the other.

Besides the obvious "open another window, resize and drag across" is there a better way?

snap lol. i was thinking exactly this last night......why havent i see a plugin to view two pages at once? it would be very useful!

umm...yeah. exactly like that. thanks! lol. lots of reports of that crashing, but im trying one now called tab splitter https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/7327 that seems to do the job. it does have its own controls and search bar for hte second pane - you'd think it'd all use the main bar and controls but its not a big issue. but i can tell you now, it does work with iplayer!

happy days lol

Brilliant. That seems to work really well:

Just found that at the top, bottom and both sides of Firefox that there are 'secret' tabs that appear when you mouse-over them that easily allow FF to be split in each direction. :)
