Firefox problem

I have had this problem everyso often and lately its really getting on my nerves. Firefox just decides to completely reset its self, loosing all my bookmarks, toolbar links, saved passwords, everything back to as if its just installed.

aAnyone ever had this, and if not....can anyone name me a good browser because this is fast sliding back down from something that was once deemed "awesome" :eek:
 
My pc does have a tendency to crash (weak power supply i think) But last night for example it was closed out properly then went to fire it up earlier this morning and like i have found before...nothing was there.
 
Only a few recent ones, hmmm. Annoying. Any better browsers about. Im also annoyed by it constantly wanting to update
