Firefox problems :(

Hi

So, basically, I upgraded to version 2 RC1 today, loaded up Google and the page was bouncing up and down.

Doesn't seem to be a RC1 problem as such as it happened on previous version which I needed to use a certain theme to fix (Noia 2). Unfortunately that theme hasn't been updated for RC1, I used the only theme which I had that was compatable and no joy.

Really would like a more permenant fix rather than a theme that fixes it.

grats on the 1st thread , ive not noticed that it does athat atall , but i've noticed that firefox isnt saving my toolbar settings i keep having to add things every time i load it up ... might re install :/

Yer Firefox isn't saving my Toolbar settings or allowing too Bookmark any Internet pages. :mad:

I did try too reinstall it after the upgrade but made no difference lets hope these issues will be fixed when the next upgrade come out.

Sometimes restarting FF in safe mode can resolve certain issues.

In the past my firefox vibrated when I had empty toolbars open, check that

A reinstall's largely pointless - it won't touch your profile, and that's where 99% of problems occur...

http://kb.mozillazine.org/Localstore.rdf and/or a new profile?
Can't see any update nuking that file by default.

Does the bouncing stop if you use the default theme (either for Firefox or Windows)? This might be worth reading.
