I upgraded to 8.1 yesterday and everything's going fine so far. However, even after a fresh install I'm having the same problem in FF that I had with it under W7 (it was saving fine then changed about a week ago - scanned but no viruses etc).
I save the download folder in options to what I want but all saves still keep going to the default download folder. I've tried running with no extensions, doing a reset, changing the folder to different HDD's and it still wont save to my specified location. Not sure what else to do, can anyone shed any light on this?
Update: After some more searching I've found that it's a bug that doesn't allow you to save to root directories, you can save to folders but not root. I'll just stick with it for now till they fix it.
